Privacy Policy
Lens is designed around a simple principle: captured network traffic is debugging data, not cloud content.
Captured traffic
Lens stores captured requests, responses, bodies, WebSocket payloads, and saved Sessions locally on your Mac. Lens does not upload this captured traffic to the Lens license service.
Personal Space sync
Lens 1.0.1 does not sync workspace data. If a future version offers optional Personal Space sync, the policy will identify the exact CloudKit data boundary before that feature is released.
License and purchase data
When you purchase or activate Lens Pro, the Lens license service may process your email address, plan, entitlement state, installation identifier, app version, and license activation state. Payment details are handled by the checkout provider and are not stored in the Lens app.
Software updates
Lens uses Sparkle to check a public signed update feed. Update checks may disclose standard network metadata such as IP address and app version to the hosting provider.
Website data
This website does not intentionally install advertising trackers. Hosting providers may retain ordinary access and security logs.
Data control
You can remove the local Lens certificate, delete saved Sessions, or uninstall Lens. Lens 1.0.1 keeps workspace configuration and captured traffic local by default.
